First Lady Hill’s Favorite Scripture:

First Lady Yolanda Hill accepted Christ as her personal savior in high school. She has been a pastor’s wife since 1983, and has worked with Pastor Hill at various churches: Fairbanks COGIC, Yale Street COGIC, Open Door COGIC, Prayer Mission COGIC, and Haynesville COGIC. At each church, she worked in many phases of ministry including the women’s work, youth/children’s ministry, Sunday School, and music ministry.
Sis. Hill has served in districts and jurisdictions in Houston and Austin, Texas and the state of Louisiana. Yolanda’s “tour of duty” as she calls it includes:

In the First Jurisdiction of Louisiana, Sis. Hill served in the Haynesville District as the administrative assistant to District Missionary and amour bearer to the District Superintendent’s wife. General Board Member, Bishop Roy L.H. Winbush was her jurisdictional prelate.
Yolanda is a licensed evangelist missionary in the Church of God in Christ and currently serves in the Texas Southeast First (TSE#1) Jurisdiction as the Elect Lady with the Evangelism Department; as the Praise and Worship Coordinator for Send Judah First with the Jurisdictional Music Department. She has also previously served as the TSE#1 Youth Department Chairlady.
Sis. Hill has a BBA degree in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and a Master of Education in Business Education from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Divinity Degree program at Houston Graduate School of Theology.
